Duration & Appointment Timing

The service takes around 30 minutes. Please arrive with bare nails. If you have gel, builder gel, acrylic or dip on, book a professional removal so we can keep to time.

Aftercare & Maintenance

  • Apply cuticle oil daily.
  • Wear gloves for cleaning and gardening.
  • Avoid picking or prying at the edges.
  • Do not soak hard gel in acetone.
  • Book a rebalance every 2–3 weeks to maintain strength.
  • For removal, schedule professional file-off removal only.

Is this the same as extensions?
No. This is a thin hard gel overlay applied to your natural nails. It adds strength and structure without adding length.
How long will it last?
Most clients return every 2–3 weeks for a rebalance. Lifestyle and nail growth will affect longevity.
Can I add gel colour?
Yes. You can wear it clear or have gel polish applied on top if booked alongside your overlay.
Will it damage my nails?
Applied and maintained correctly, hard gel protects the natural nail. We use gentle prep and file-off removal to keep nails healthy.
How is removal done?
Hard gel is not soaked off. We safely file back the product to a thin layer or remove fully during a professional appointment.
