Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hopi ear candling?
It is a relaxing, non-invasive service using hollow candles held at the ear entrance. The gentle warmth and soft crackle can feel soothing. It is not a medical treatment.
Is it safe for everyone?
It is unsuitable if you have an ear infection, perforated eardrum, grommets, recent ear surgery, or allergies to beeswax. If you are pregnant or unsure, please ask your GP or contact us before booking.
Will it remove earwax?
Hopi ear candling is not a clinical wax-removal method. Some guests report a lighter, clearer feeling after the service. For impacted wax, see a qualified clinician for microsuction.
What does the treatment feel like?
You may feel gentle warmth and hear a soft crackling sound. Most guests find it deeply relaxing. A light ear and temple massage completes the session.
How should I prepare?
Arrive a few minutes early and avoid heavy hair products near the ears. Remove earrings and tell us about sensitivities or ear conditions. Bring storage for hearing aids if needed.
